Walibi and Hungry Minds go Mecalodon fishing

Since 2018, the park in Wavre has undergone a reinvention, with a 100-million-euro investment plan. The latest illustration of this overhaul is the new Dock World zone and its new family rollercoaster, the Mecalodon. 

 

A campaign with a maritime flavour 

To announce the opening of this new attraction, Hungry Minds has created a campaign featuring the Venture family, a colourful family whose children intend to make their parents’ summer unforgettable, even if it means playing tricks on them!  

The campaign is present on TV, OLV, (D)OOH, radio and the social networks. In France, the commercial is also visible in 4D experience cinemas. Each medium highlights the surprising aspect of this attraction that gets off to a flying start. The visuals also showcase the sumptuous scenery of the Dock World zone, between the small fishing port and the post-industrial maritime zone.
