A new digital platform to boost the social and circular economy

Players in the social and circular economy now have a shared digital shop window for selling their second-hand products.
Its name is: LaRécup (slang for salvage in French) and it is a human-centred and solidarity-focused e-shop designed to bring together the best there is to offer in second-hand articles in Wallonia and Brussels. In particular, in includes the catalogues of associations such as La Ressourcerie Namuroise, Les Petits Riens, Droit & Devoir, etc.

The platform already has 43,000 products available and aims to boost the visibility and sales of social businesses while offering consumers a local and responsible alternative to giants of the second-hand market sector such as Marketplace and Vinted.

A digital campaign to promote ethical purchases

To support the launch of the platform, Hungry Minds has dreamed up a 100% digital communication campaign, aimed at raising public awareness of the benefits of ethical purchasing. The campaign shows that it is possible to find good deals and unique, high-quality products thanks to the expertise of sellers who salvage, sort, select and repurpose items.

Upstream of the campaign, Hungry Minds designed the visual identity of LaRecup.be, in line with the values and world of social economy stakeholders. This new image helps to raise the profile of the sector and establish a clear and unifying identity.
